Summer In The Alps

Next weekend marks the end of the winter 2014/15 ski season and what a season it’s been with excellent snow conditions and plenty of sunny days. Talking of sunny days, summer in the Alps is gorgeous and with so much to see and do is the perfect choice for a summer holiday.

Swim surrounded by mountains. There are some lovely walking and cycling trails around the (mostly) level valley floor or take to the mountains for more adventure. This is just a start! With horse-riding, tennis, white-water rafting, canyoning, cable cars, parapenting, even an outdoor summer ice-rink, theres never a shortage of things to do.

orillon, and France in general, is very child friendly and most restaurants are incredibly welcoming of children. The local Savoyard food and fun ways to eat cheese are a great hit with kids!
