Tour De France Comes To The Haute-Savoie

Tomorrow the winter season draw to a close. We would like to thank all our guests who made it such a wonderful season and look forward to welcoming you back next year.
Summer 2016
Summer in the Alps is amazing fun with so much to do. This summer is extra special as the Tour De France comes to the region for stages 14 – 20.
All these stages are within easy driving distance but on Saturday 23rd July Le Tour passes through Morillon! A day of sport and festivities is planned to cheer the cyclists on.
Stage 18 time trials are only 30-40 minutes drive at Sallanches. All the other stages are within driving distance making Setanta Chalet the perfect base for the week.
Cycling In The Grand Massif
If you’re inspired to take to the saddle road and mountain bikes are available to hire in Morillon.
Mountain biking down the Alps is exhilarating and the chairlift does the hard work of getting you to the top. A choice of trails are marked down the mountain for as extreme (or not!) ride as you like. You can even organise a guided mountain bike trip through Verneret sports Twinner.
If you’re brining your own bikes the chalet has a garage for secure storage and there is a convenient tap and hose for washing equipment down.
