Dinner At Chalet Setanta

Published 2nd December 2014

Julia Child once said ‘Dining with one’s friends and beloved family is certainly one of life’s primal and most innocent delights, one that is both soul-satisfying and eternal’. The long traditional pine table at Chalet Setanta has played host to many colourful conversations and lively debates. Tales of the day’s adventures have been recalled; tomorrow’s plans have been deliberated, kids have boasted of their achievements on the slopes and parents have doled out encouragement. And all this while enjoying a culinary feast served up night after night all the while knowing that someone else will take care of the dishes!

This season will be no different. The recipe books are out and the as the temperature begins to drop we are starting to think about winter menus. When one thinks of the slopes you can’t help but think of those wonderful hearty dishes of beef bourguignon, maple glazed pulled pork, coq-au-vin. At Chalet Setanta we love to recreate these classics but with a twist and nothing pleases us more than delighting guests with our own tasty creations. Here’s a sample of what’s on offer this season:
