Group Ski Holidays

Organising a ski holiday for a group of family and friends may seem like it’s going to be a lot of hassle but it doesn’t need to be. Over the years we’ve helped so many families organise their group ski holiday I thought I’d share some tips to help you plan yours.

Who’s coming?

You’ve decided you’re going to a group ski holiday together, the first and most essential step is to work out what everyone wants and needs. From accommodation type to dietary requirements and ages to skill levels, having a good understanding what is required will help you choose the best place for everyone in your party.

The right resort for you

I’m a little biased but I don’t think you can find a more perfect ski resort than Morillon and the Grand Massif. Less than an hours drive from Geneva Airport, excellent snow record, friendly, safe, short queues and stunning views; there is nowhere I’d rather be. Morillon is officially one of the very best resorts in France for families holding the ‘Famille Plus Montagne’ designation for its excellent children’s facilities.

Accommodation type

King size double bed or twins? Who needs to be next to who? At Chalet Setanta we offer the flexibility that any room can have king-size or twin beds so you can decide in advance and arrive knowing it’s all taken care of.

Meals and evening entertainment

An exclusive use ski chalet is the perfect choice for families and groups of friends. Meal times that suit you. Menus that match your tastes and accommodate any dietary requirements (or picky eaters). Games and entertainment suited to the groups ages. Plenty of space and separate games room. An exclusive use ski chalet offers the space and convenience of your own home with the comforts and luxury of a hotel.

Dates

The earlier you can start planning the better choices you have available. There might be last minute discounts available but for a group booking in advance allows you to chose the perfect combination of resort and accommodation for your family on the dates that suit you all.

Organising group ski holiday can seem daunting at first and I hope this helps you begin planning your perfect trip. I’m always available to answer questions to help you decide if Chalet Setanta is the ideal choice for your group and help you plan you ski holiday in the Grand Massif (Click here for contact details).
