Morillon For Families
Published on 1st October, 2014
Loved by generations of families (including ours!) Morillon is one of the most family friendly ski resorts in the Alps. The resort has received the French government “Famille Plus” accreditation for it’s excellent family facilities.
We’re less than an hours drive from Geneva Airport (private transfer included) and thanks to the location enjoy a fantastic snow record all the way until the end of the season.
On The Slopes
Kids lift passes start from €12.70 per day and family passes are available. As kids grow up so quickly it really isn’t worth buying equipment and the local rental companies are great value for money.
The nursery slopes at Morillon 1100 are just next to the gondola. There is a magic carpet and gentle slope to practice first turns before progressing onto the greens. Ski school is a fantastic way to make new friends and develop skills, ESF are very good but we particularly recommend Zig Zag who have fluent English speaking instructors and taught our kids to ski.
Day Care
For the little ones and kids who don’t ski Village des enfants day care centre, also at Morillon 1100, is perfect. Looking after children aged 6 months to 10 years, activities are varied and fantastic fun. Beginners ski courses are also available from 3 years with English speaking nannies and instructors. The Village des enfants is very popular and we can assist make your reservations.
Après Ski
Return from a day on the slopes to afternoon tea and plenty of freshly prepared treats. Dinner is served at time(s) to suit your group and we will discuss your families requirements prior to arrival to tailor menus for any special requests (and picky eaters).
Your hosts have fantastic evening entertainments prepared including murder mystery and Savoyard nights. Again, we will tailor each evenings entertainment to your families ages and preferences.
If you have any questions about Morillon please don’t hesitate to ask us.
