What Can I Expect On A Catered Ski Chalet Holiday?

Posted Tuesday 2nd August 2016

If you’re new to catered ski chalet holidays you probably want to learn a little more and what to expect. Here’s our guide to catered ski holidays at Chalet Setanta:

Welcome

We will be ready at arrivals to help with luggage before driving your the short 50 minutes to Morillon. If you caught an early flight lunch can be provided and we’ll get you on the slopes that afternoon.

Rental & Passes

Rent your equipment through us and Remi will deliver and fit in the comfort of the chalet. Your lift passes already collected so you can go straight to the slopes.

Gourmet Dinning

Something Special

Even before dinner is served the wine starts to flow. Meals can be tailored to your family’s requirements and preferences. Each night is different gastronomic delight.

On Wednesday your hosts take a well-deserved evening off (once they’ve got breakfast and afternoon tea prepared) giving you the opportunity to check out one of the local restaurants. We are delighted to make recommendations and reservations for you.

Wake Up!

Breakfast is a hearty feast to fuel you up for a good days skiing. Your skis are already loaded and we’ll whisk you to the first lift in plenty of time for ski school. It’s over to you to enjoy some of the most incredible slopes in the French Alps (and decide where to stop for lunch).

Afternoon Tea

Each day a freshly baked cake and delicious goodies are waiting for your return, helping to warm the insides and keep hunger pangs at bay.

The Space

Chalet Setanta is exclusively yours with no other guests who you don’t know. Feel free to come down to breakfast in your dressing gown. It’s your ski chalet, you can do what you want!

Feels Like Home

Expect Wi-Fi, satellite TV with UK channels, NetFlix, PlayStation 3 and DVDs to keep everyone entertained and Gilchrist & Soammes toiletries so you smell lovely.

Sunday To Sunday

We offer Sunday – Sunday holidays. Saturday is main changeover day with all associated the pressure, higher fares and increased potential for delays. This also means the mountain will be quiet for perfect days skiing on your final Saturday.

Return Home

Regrettably the week ends but there aren’t any skis to drop back or waiting for transport. Just breakfast and gone with passport & boarding card in hand dreaming when you can return next year.
