When Is The Best Time To Visit?

Published on 29th October, 2014

The lifts open and the winter 2014/15 season officially begins on Saturday 20th December (and we can’t wait), if you’re planning your holidays here are some of my suggestions to help you pick the week that will suit you best.

Christmas & New Year

Enjoy an amazing Christmas in the snow while we look after everything. The chalet is decorated with twinkling lights and a real Christmas tree, mince pies & mulled wine greet you as you return from the slopes, Nicola prepares an exceptional menu and the log fire crackles. Unfortunately Christmas week is already booked for this year but there’s always next…

January (low-season)

Some of the best skiing conditions and the piste almost to yourselves. Our low season prices are €550 per adult half-board including wine (dinner 6 nights), airport transfer and exclusive use of the chalet for your family.

Mid-season (February & March)

The cooler conditions guarantee great snow and superb slopes. Even during the school holidays its never too crowded and queues remain short but it is advisable to book ski school or nursery at Village des enfants in advance.

Easter Holidays

The Grand Massif enjoys reliable snowfall well into spring and there are plenty of snow canons and piste bashers to keep the slopes groomed to perfection.

Spring Skiing (April)

Blue sky skiing in spring. The lifts are open until 19th April 2015 and we offer our special low season prices for great value ski holidays, or even a second trip.
